Make your own garden stepping stones with these reusable plastic molds.
- Molds are made in the USA from durable 75mil polystyrene
- Molds will last for many concrete pours
- The mold or finished stones make an excellent gift
- Customize your stepping stones with Iron Oxide pigments or accent with slurry paint
- Cast the mold thinner to create unique wall tiles
- Molds are 15.5" (can vary slightly with shape)
We recommend:
- Fill mold with 5-10 lbs of Fishstone Standard HP50 Bag Mix ( Sand, White Portland Cement & Pozzolan)
- add enough water to wet out mix to a stiff milkshake consistency
- pour into garden that has been coated with Cressat 20 VOC release agent (a waterborne release that preserves the mold)
- Vibrate your mold for several minutes to release the air, let set up overnight or 24 hours with a plastic cover to retain moisture.
- Uncover the next day, lightly sand your edges to remove rough spots, now your ready to color and/ or seal.
- We recommend any acrylic based liquid color and sealed using our Fishstone Acrylic sealer.
- Apply 1-2 coats of sealer over painted stepping stone using a chip brush or foam brush.
