Kraft PC401 Hopper Spray Gun for GFRC, Concrete Countertops & Decorative Concrete
The Kraft PC401 Hopper Spray Gun is a professional-grade spray gun designed for applying GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) face coats, cement slurries, repair mortars, decorative concrete coatings, and sand-cement based materials. Featuring a unique tilting hopper, it makes spraying concrete countertop molds, sinks, furniture, wall panels, fireplace surrounds, and other vertical or angled surfaces easier while maintaining consistent material flow.
Whether you're fabricating GFRC countertops, architectural panels, concrete furniture, or precast concrete products, the Kraft PC401 delivers excellent atomization and material control for producing smooth, pinhole-free face coats and consistent decorative finishes.
The adjustable fluid control and interchangeable nozzle system allow you to fine-tune both spray pattern and material output, making the PC401 suitable for everything from thin GFRC mist coats to heavier mortar applications and textured decorative finishes.

Included Nozzles
Air Nozzles
- 2 mm
- 2.5 mm
- 3 mm
The air nozzle controls the amount of compressed air used to atomize the material. Smaller nozzles provide finer atomization, while larger nozzles increase airflow for thicker materials.
Material (Orifice) Nozzles
- 4 mm
- 6 mm
- 8 mm
Larger material nozzles allow higher material flow, producing wider spray patterns and heavier textures, while smaller nozzles provide finer, more controlled finishes.
Air Requirements
- Minimum Air Supply: 6.2 CFM
- Recommended Operating Pressure: Approximately 25 PSI (adjust as needed based on material consistency and desired finish)
Ideal Applications
- GFRC face coats
- Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC)
- Concrete countertops
- Concrete sinks
- Concrete furniture
- Architectural precast concrete
- Fireplace surrounds
- Wall panels
- Decorative concrete
- Cement slurry coatings
- Repair mortars
- Concrete overlays
- Vertical carving and texturing
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Kraft PC401 Hopper Gun used for?
The Kraft PC401 is designed for spraying GFRC face coats, cement slurries, decorative concrete coatings, repair mortars, and other sand-cement based materials. It is especially popular among concrete countertop fabricators and architectural precast manufacturers.
Can I use the Kraft PC401 for GFRC face coats?
Yes. The PC401 is one of the most popular hopper guns for spraying GFRC face coats. With the proper nozzle selection and material consistency, it produces a smooth, uniform face coat with excellent coverage and reduced pinholes.
What size air compressor do I need?
The spray gun requires a compressor capable of supplying approximately 6.2 CFM at around 25 PSI. Larger compressors provide more consistent performance during continuous spraying.
Which nozzle should I use?
- 4 mm – Thin face coats and fine cement slurries
- 6 mm – General-purpose GFRC spraying
- 8 mm – Heavier mortars and textured decorative finishes
The ideal nozzle depends on your mix design, aggregate size, and desired finish.
What is the advantage of the tilting hopper?
The tilting hopper makes it much easier to spray vertical molds, countertop edges, sinks, wall panels, and other complex shapes while maintaining a consistent material feed. It also helps reduce material waste compared to standard fixed hoppers.
Can this spray gun be used for decorative concrete?
Absolutely. The Kraft PC401 is suitable for decorative concrete overlays, architectural concrete, repair mortars, faux finishes, texture coats, and many other cement-based applications.
Can I spray fiber-reinforced GFRC with this gun?
The PC401 is intended primarily for GFRC face coats and slurry applications. Standard chopped AR glass fibers used in GFRC backing mixes are generally too large to pass through the included nozzles. Backer coats are typically applied with specialized GFRC spray equipment or by hand packing.
Why buy the Kraft PC401 from Fishstone?
At Fishstone, we use and support the products we sell. In addition to providing professional-grade equipment, we offer expert technical support, training resources, and decades of experience helping customers fabricate high-quality concrete countertops, sinks, furniture, and architectural concrete projects.

Kraft PC401 Gun & Hopper
The sprayer worked great right out of the box. I purchased a competitors product a couple of years ago for more money and it didn't last long. Upon opening the box I found this gun to be better quality. I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. I recommend this as a starter or a daily user if you doing gfrc.
