Concrete Mix Calculator

Calculate concrete volume, select a Fishstone mix design, see the total material required for your project, divide it into practical batches, and build a shopping list.

1. Enter Your Project Size

Concrete Required
0.00 cu. ft.
How is concrete volume calculated?

For a rectangular casting, multiply length × width × thickness in inches, then divide by 1,728 to convert cubic inches to cubic feet.

Example: 60" × 26" × 1.5" = 2,340 cubic inches. 2,340 ÷ 1,728 = approximately 1.35 cubic feet. With a 10% waste allowance, that becomes approximately 1.49 cubic feet.

4. Plan Your Batches

Choose how you plan to mix the project, then tell us how many separate batches you want to make. The calculator divides the total recipe evenly between those batches.

5. Shopping List

The shopping list includes all recipe ingredients except water. Fishstone products show practical purchase quantities where package sizes are configured, while locally sourced materials are identified separately.

Approximate results: Calculated material requirements and yields are approximate. Actual yield and water demand can vary with raw materials, moisture, fibers, pigments, admixtures, mixing equipment, placement and waste. Verify with test batches.
